Our Conveniently Located Historic Cottage
Originally built in 1900 as a workers cottage for the expanding city of Hobart, Little Arthur is centrally located on Little Arthur street. As the city of Hobart grew, so too did the many bars and eateries that are all located less than a minute stroll away.
Indulge in exquisite food and wine from award winning restaurants and bars, or unwind by the cosy fire or the claw foot tub while perusing the many books on offer. Little Arthur is a place of relaxation and rest. A base to explore Hobart and its surrounds, to return at the end of the day and exhale.

We love supporting local Tasmanian makers and producers and you will find many beautiful products throughout Little Arthur. In the bathroom, Milie Organics Hair and Skin Care, as well as Bath Milk created by Sarah Andrews of The Hosting Masterclass are provided. Pantry items include Tasmanian Pepper Co Pepper, Storm and India loose leaf Tea, and freshly ground Villino coffee from our friends at Providence Café and Bar. Fresh flowers are also provided by our friends at Botanical Hobart Florist. For additional grocery items, follow Arthur Street for 1km to the local Hill Street Grocer.
Relaxing Spaces for Rest and Exploration
Free parking is on site. High speed internet, free Netflix and Disney are provided. A fully equipped kitchen as well as access to herb garden is perfect for those budding foodies. For your convenience, guests have access to washing machine, dryer and washing line with laundry powder provided. To cope with Tasmania’s ever-changing weather, there is the convenience of a reverse cycle heat pump and air conditioner as well as a wood fire.
